USB 3.0 PCIe Add-on Card Installation
- Locate the PCI-E slot on the motherboard.
- Insert the USB3.0 PCI-E Card into the PCI-E slot.
- Connect the disk drive power connectors from the system power supply to the USB3.0 PCI-E Card.
- Turn your computer on.
- Give your Operating System a few minutes to recognize the new hardware before proceeding with the installation.
USB 3.0 Express Card Installation
- Turn your computer on.
- Press the slot opening on the left side your notebook (some notebooks have the slot opening on the right side of the notebook)
- Remove the dummy card that is installed in your notebook's Express Card slot. 4 and insert the USB3.0 Express Card into the Express Card slot (the thinner end goes in first).
- Give your Operating System a few minutes to recognize the new hardware before proceeding with the installation.
USB 3.0 Driver Installation
- Download and store the USB 3.0 driver on your computer.
- Extract the ZIP file from the ZIP archive.
- Double click on the setup file (NECEL-USB3-Host-Driver-10200-setup.exe) to begin the installation.
- Click Next to continue the InstallationShield Wizard.
- Read the license agreement carefully. Select 'I accept the terms of the License agreement' and click Next to continue
- Choose the destination folder for the driver and click Next to continue.
- Select Install to begin the driver installation.
- Select Finish when the InstallationShield Wizard has been completed.
Nov 06, 2015 Everything is working, except SD Card Reader. SD Card reader is not listing by Device Manager, but if I check 'View + Show Hidden Devices' it is listing, but it is grayed. According to device manager, the device is 'not connected to the computer', but it is working when I boot in OSX. I have tried to reinstall the driver, but it didn't work. Another driver, SxS Device Driver needs to be installed for using ExpressCard slot built in a laptop PC / Mac. Please load SxS Device Driver first and SxS UDF Driver second.
Private browser safari. If an older version of SxS UDF Driver is installed on a Windows PC, please uninstall, restart the PC and then install the new version.
If starting up Windows OS or macOS while inserting SxS card with UDF formatted, the card may not be mounted correctly. In that case, please start up without SxS card inserted and then insert the card.
When you install the XDCAM Software in Windows 8.1, please check 'Run this program in compatibility mode' and select 'Windows 7' manually before installing.
